50. Is Your Circle of Friends Holding you Back?

Are you surrounding yourself with people who are propelling you forward or holding you back? At one point, there was a time when I was surrounding myself with people who made me feel comfortable simply because they were familiar. And while they’re great people, they weren’t doing the things that I wanted to be doing in life. A coach once told me that if you want something, you need to start putting yourself in that place. If you want that Louis Vuitton handbag, go into that store once a month and try on the handbag. If you want that beautiful black Range Rover, then go and test drive it. Don’t let those limiting beliefs of thinking you can’t have something hold you back. Start putting yourself in the shoes of the things you want whether it be that house in that neighborhood, on that beach, that dream vacation, because you can achieve those things. You have to believe in yourself and you have to trust that everything you want is on its way to you. And I truly believe that if you put yourself at a table where you are surrounding yourself with people who are doing incredible things, soon enough, you will be doing those same things.
