133. The Week After My Mom Died- with Kendra Rinaldi
In this episode I share the audio clip of a FB live I did just a week after my mom died of Pancreatic Cancer. In it I share a few takeaways that I thought may be valuable for someone who is recently experiencing grief as well as for someone who is supporting someone who is grieving.
• The grieving process of a sudden death vs the grieving process of a death by an illness. My sister died in a car accident in 1996 and my mom died 9 months after being diagnosed from Pancreatic Cancer in 2016.
• How our believes about life after death can play a part in our grief journey.
• What to say when someone is grieving.
• Don’t judge your grief or the grief of others. Everyone’s process is unique.

137. A Journey of a Lifetime- with Mike Liguori
After being on the brink of suicide induced by years of PTSD from fighting in Iraq with the Marines, a series of supernatural interventions saved Mike Liguori’s life. His military service and deployments to a war zone were not by accident.
He had engaged and often ran away from his enemies long before and after the war within the shadow of his past.
His most recent book, The Road Ahead and Miles Behind: A Story of Healing and Redemption Between Father and Son chronicles the story of a cross-country road trip taken during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic with one of the darkest shadows of his past, his relationship with his father.

In this episode of "What the Feels" we are talking about the Disney hit "Encanto" with friend and grief coach Kendra Rinaldi. We discuss the family's journey of generational trauma and grief. This movie also gives us a message of staying true to ourselves, even when we feel like we don't fit in.
Kendra Rinaldi is a grief and life transitions coach and podcast host of Grief, Gratitude and the Gray in Between. She invites guests to share their journey and how they grew from that experience, many sharing about their grief after the death of a loved one and the tools they used in their grief process. She has also volunteered at Journey of Hope Grief Support Center. She is passionate about helping others who feel alone in their grief journey.

Grief & gratitude with special guest Kendra Rinaldi
In this week's episode of The Widow Podcast I am honoured to be talking to special guest Kendra Rinaldi.
Kendra is the host of ‘Grief, Gratitude And The Gray In Between’ podcast, which explores grief that occurs at different times in our lives and the gratitude that can come from growing through it.
This is a podcast not just about death, but acknowledges all the changes and transitions that shift our life.
Kendra Lives in Texas now but is originally from Columbia where she grew up as one of four siblings. At the age of 21 Kendra’s younger sister died suddenly in a tragic car accident shifting Kendras life and everything she knew.
Ten years later in 2006 Kendra’s first pregnancy sadly ended in miscarriage, and then ten years after that in 2016 Kendra’s Mum died of pancreatic cancer, after being diagnosed nine months earlier.
