Host Lalit Dhamija, Procurement Trainer and Executive Chair of CIPS UAE branch committees is in conversation with Josephine Mollen Atieno holds Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Moi University (Kenya) and has, 8 years’ experience in supply chain management. Mollen is currently a Chief Procurement Manager in one of the Oil and Gas service Company in Kenya.
Mollen holds the prestigious MCIPS designation and serves passionately as a membership officer at the CIPS Kenya branch a board member of the Supply Systems and People a consulting house that is committed to transforming business through enhancing transparency and accountability whilst promoting ethical practice in the supply chain. Mollen is the co-founder of PROSPA-Kenya, (CIPS pan Africa award winner 2016-Best People Development Initiative) a network that champions professionalism in procurement and mentorship of young procurement and supply chain professionals.
Mollen is an enthusiast of the profession and believes there is more value addition that professional procurement can add-not just to an organization-but to an entire economy. She believes building professionals today who will ride the waves of change tomorrow and build a better society.
