Today I interview David Mathis about his new book Habits of Grace (Crossway, 2016). Listen as we talk about his life, ministry, and upcoming and future writing projects. In addition, we discuss how Christians can enjoy engaging in the spiritual disciplines, the importance of reading in the Christian life, and what are the means of grace? We also talk about the impact Dr. Tim Keller and Donald Whitney, along with Dr. John Piper have had on his life and ministry. Along with these important topics, David discusses how Pastors and ministry leaders can help God's people enjoy the corporate and individual spiritual disciplines. Along with all of this, he discuses the neglect of biblical meditation in the Church and it's important place in the Christian life. Finally, he talks about joy in the Christian life and ministry and provides advise to Bible College and seminary students preparing for seminary.
