The COVID Recovered Are Better Protected than the Vaccinated

Natural immunity is better than vaccination alone. The CDC has finally done a proper look into the protection offered by prior Covid-19 infection as compared to vaccination. Court Blocks OHSA Vaccine Mandate

The Fifth Circuit struck down the OSHA vaccine workplace mandates on the basis that they are a hot mess. Well, not precisely, but pretty much. Also, when we score the public health outcomes for both overall mortality and overall morbidity, so far the combined efforts of all public health agencies in the US get an “F.” All-cause mortality is actually higher in 2021 than in 2020. Odds Increase that SARS CoV-2 was Lab Made

Do you believe you deserve to know if the SARS-CoV-2 virus that has upended the world, and your life, for the past 20 months was made by humans? I know I deserve to know that, as does everyone. Well, the field of that battle just got a little bit clearer. A leaked document shows that in 2018 the EcoHealth alliance had pitched DARPA to fund a huge amount of work on bat coronaviruses including mixing and matching the most dangerous elements of them (so-called chimeric virus assemblies) as well as identifying and inserting the best human furin cleavage sites in them to increase pathogenicity. All of this work was to be done in collaboration with the Wuhan Institute of Virology up to and including playing a significant portion of “the bat lady’s” salary. Public health not the main priority

Natural Immunity Stronger Than Vaccine Alone

A large well-run study from Israel confirms that people with a prior SARS2 infection have vastly stronger immunity to both subsequent infection as well as hospitalization as compared to people who had received two doses of the Pfizer vaccine (but had not had prior exposure). A third group which had both prior infection and a single jab did somewhat better than either of the other two groups. This argues conclusively that prior infection can be and should be a basis for vaccine exemption. As always, if the data changes, so will we. But for sure, we can say that it’s not as simple as being either vaxxed or unvaxxed. There’s a third group in the mix and that’s people who have already had a SARS2 infection and recovered. They are a far safer group than the vaxxed in that they don’t get reinfected as much as the vaxxed, and they don’t go to the hospital nearly as often. So the hyperbolic vaxxed crowd calling for the unvaxxed to suffer, or pay more, or even – in some grotes…

Confusion: Keeping up with shifting lockdown and vaccine narratives

The story about why we have lockdowns has shifted over time from “we have to flatten the curve” to “cases are rising.” Masks didn’t work, then they did, then you needed two, and then none if you were vaccinated. Herd immunity used to mean a certain percentage of the population had either natural or vaccine induced immunity. Then it was changed by the W.H.O. to only mean a certain percentage had been vaccinated. So vaccines were sold as the means to “get our lives back” by getting us to herd immunity. Only the vaccines weren’t sterilizing so really they couldn’t ever do that. As recently as July 7th the US President said the unvaccinated were a threat to their entire communities. As of today, vaccines have been re-redefined as simply necessary to prevent serious Covid or death from Covid in individuals. The comment thread? CDC data is surprising

The CDC has released a gigantic romp through the Covid hospitalization and death data. Some fascinating things I did not expect have emerged. The bad news is that 8 comorbidities are highly correlated with worse outcomes and/or death. The good news is that a bunch of comorbidities seemed to not make things any worse, and might have even been slightly protective. Weird, right? The most glaring statistic is that of all the people who died of Covid, those with 0 (zero) comorbidities represented just 0.9% of the deaths. Most protective immunity is natural immunity

The very best immunity is natural immunity. That comes to us from Israeli data which is complete enough to draw real conclusions from. The vaccines offer varying degrees of protection from hospitalization and death that are much improved as compared to the unvaccinated in the over 50 crowd. Under 50? The data is less clear but the good news is that there really aren’t any hospitalizations or deaths involved. The numbers are so small as to be best rounded down to zero. So the good news is that the Delta variant is stacking up to be far less deadly than the prior variants. The bad news is that “immune escape” is really very much on the table. It hasn’t happened yet (that we know of) but the odds are stacking up in its favor as more and more vaccinated people are becoming infected with SARS2 despite being fully vaccinated. Dr Geert Vanden Bossche’s hypothesis is now an ‘open secret’ as it is now part of the risk factors listed by the UK heath authorities.
