S5 EP132 Winning the 555km La Ultra Race with Jason Reardon
Play • 1 hr 50 min
Today on the #goallin podcast we have Jason Reardon. Jason is the winner of the inaugural Red Bull La Ultra race which took place last year in the himalayas over a distance of 555kms. As you’ll hear Jason is very humble about his win and if you listen in closely you’ll hear a deep determination like nothing you’ve ever heard before.

Late last year Jason and I were working on a subset of the go all in show called master your mind and I encourage you to check that out over on our YouTube channel. Just visit youtube.com/goallin and you will see the playlist there.

Jason is an ex infantry guy just like me although his skills are a bit more advanced than mine as he is an ex-special forces commando. Jason knows what it means to focus, how to remain motivated and above all he knows how to win ridiculously long endurance races.

You’ve probably never heard of the Red Bull La Ultra race. This race is conducted over 5 days in the Himalayas and takes competitors to peaks as high as 17,000ft.

And yes, you are assuming correctly, it is a running race!!

There is absolutely no doubt that this is an EPIC feat of human endurance and spirit and Jason embodies absolutely everything it means to Go All In, to commit and win.

If you've ever wanted to know what it takes to compete in an Ultra marathon and win, then listen in closely as Jason explains exactly how he did it.

Outro track: Psychopath - Blood Red Sun
