In our lives we have a hierarchy of importance. It’s normally family first and somewhere in the top 5 would be your career. Work is not everything to everyone but if I could make a generalisation and say that most people really do care about their career and where it is taking them in their life.

As you know we are living in a rapidly changing world. Gone are the days where you have 1-job that lasts you 40-years and then you retire. Statistically you’ll have 5-7 career changes in your lifetime and each and every one of those will require you to go all in and completely commit to them to make it a success or at least make a go of it.

Career transitions, job changes and advancement are all things that all of us have to deal with in the modern workforce and Libby is an expert and helping people in these times of change.

As you’ll hear, Libby’s business Steam Capital is on the very leading edge of the changes that we face in our society. For employers a sustainable workforce is more critical than ever and for employees there is a huge amount of choice available so the shift that is happening is that there is less of a focus on employees pitching themselves and more of a move towards employers pitching their offer and their workplace as the one of choice.
