What does God say about Marriage?
This is a episode that covers how we should turn up in our marriage and how we should treat each other.Foundation There are many great scriptures we can use and the focus of this episode is Ephesians 5:21-33 There are some pretty big responsibilities in these scriptures for Husbands and Wives.. both Some key topics discussed: The importance of yourselves submittingone to another How we love Christ is the same as a should love her WifeHusband should give their to their Wives, just like Christ gave everything for the ChurchHusbandsall If a Husband and Wife have a desire to serve, with the needs & desires of their spouse (not their own) in their heart, it will be an amazing marriage.both We’d love to hear from you - tell us what topics are relevant to you that you would like to hear. Ephesians 5 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.21 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.22 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.23 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so the wives to their own husbands in every thing.24 letbeHusbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;25 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,26 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.27 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.28 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:29 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.30 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.31 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.32 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife that she reverence husband.33 seeher CREDITSMusic by Caleb Mason (c) 2019

Welcome to the Podcast
Welcome to He Says She Says God Says, the Podcast about Marriages & Relationships where God is at the centre. Hosted by Ben & Emily Campbell, and several other married couples, this is a show all about relationships and married life for Christian couples. We are hoping to cover every aspect of married life, regardless of whether you are looking for a husband/wife, are newly married, halfway through your married life or are enjoying retirement and your twilight years...we will have topics that are important to everyone. God has been at the foundation of Christian Marriage since the beginning, but God is often not a central part of people's marriages today. Here's some information from the Australian Bureau of Statistics The proportion of marriage ceremonies overseen by a civil celebrant increased to 78.0 per cent of all marriages in 2017 Depending on the year, somewhere between 43-50% of marriages end in divorce The average length of a marriage before divorce is 12 years We will also be looking to the bible for inspiration, concepts and principles that God has designed for our marriages. You may have some ideas and suggestions and we would LOVE to hear them. Feel free to drop us an email email@example.com. Thanks for listening! Don't forget to subscribe on your favourite podcast app so you don't miss any episodes. Until next time, God Bless.
