Introducing: "The Vanished"

On the evening of October 6, 2019, Rosemary Rodriguez went to dinner with her boyfriend and her mother. On the way home, they dropped Rosemary's mother off and headed to her boyfriend's home. According to her boyfriend, Rosemary left his residence in Longview, Texas, after a brief argument. Two days later, a colleague called Rosemary's family to tell them she hadn't been to work, something very much out of character for Rosemary. Rosemary's family immediately called the police to report her missing. More than a year has passed since Rosemary's daughters last saw their mom, and every day seems to bring more and more dread that something awful happened. Listen to the story of Rosemary Rodriguez and many more on The Vanished at wondery.fm/vanished_teencreeps

Werewolf Ambulance
Episode 321- Nine Lives (2002)
In this week's episode, we increase Paris Hilton's appearances on Werewolf Ambulance by 100%-- no, it's not "The Hottie and the Nottie," though honestly I kinda wish it was-- it's 2002's "Nine Lives." It's bad, and it's not even really Paris's fault. Is it about cats? It is not. Special topics for your consideration include: a spot-on portrayal of an American and a spot-off portrayal of actual snow, a deeply terrible explanation of existentialism, being the "most likely to murder" friend, our fundamental lack of understanding around the metric system and Tim? Tom? No, it's Tim. Want to see more Paris in your life? Probably not but Episode 118- "House of Wax" also has Jared Padalecki, so there's that. You could also get a little Scottish with Episode 116- "The Descent," Episode 187- "Dog Soldiers" and Episode 271- "The Wicker Man." And, screw it, the Nic Cage "The Wicker Man" remake is one of our all-time favorite episodes-- it's number 108. If you've been on the fence about supporting us at patreon.com/werewolfambulance, please know that we just recorded "The Dark Knight Rises" for our action movie side podcast, and it was extremely fun. What a Creep: Marilyn Manson (Rock Creep)
What a Creep: Marilyn Manson “Rock Creep” Season 9, Episode 10 For over 25 years rocker Marilyn Manson has enjoyed a reputation as being one of the darkest theatrical performers in the rock space. He has sold millions of records, has multiple Grammy Award nominations, been the subject of massive protests around the world all while enjoying an acting career and a reputation for dating beautiful women. He also turns out to be a massive creep who has preyed on women for decades and is only now facing the consequences of truly horrible behavior. This is one of those “hiding in plain sight” types of stories. He was not playing a disgusting human—he really is one and hopefully, his reign of taking advantage of people is over. Moesha Meets a Gay Guy
“Labels” (October 1, 1996) It’s the tale of two sitcom episodes. Depending on who you are, this is either an episode about Moesha meeting a gay teen who’s scared to come out, or it’s an episode about the dangers of gossip. Maybe it’s both. We are joined once again by Dr. Alfred L. Martin Jr. to discuss the importance of Moesha, why this episode of TV is utterly unique and who the cutest boy at Crenshaw High School is. (Spoiler: It’s Omar.) Listen to our previous outing with Alfred, about Roc’s gay wedding episode. Read more about Alfred’s work on his faculty page. Watch the trailer for or rent Tongues Untied, the 1989 art film by Marlon T. Riggs about black queer life during the AIDS epidemic.
