“Contrasting seasons of life are meant to serve us and point us in the direction of our dreams.” — Tiffany Neuman
Five years ago is when I realized my life’s purpose. At least what my life’s purpose was for the next season of my life.
In this series, we’re talking all about Connection and Community.
In order to connect with others and build community, we have to be open and willing to share parts of ourselves. Today, I’m sharing a personal story. In many ways, it is my entrepreneurial origin story.
I didn’t know that at the age of 37 that I would be staring down the end of my life in a hospital bed by myself. This experience happened to me five years ago. It was terrifying and gave me so much clarity on my future all at the same time.
Was it the most uncomfortable and scary time of my life? Yes, it was.
But would I trade it for anything else? I wouldn’t and I want to tell you why sometimes the darkest periods of our can be the most impactful on our life’s journey.
In this 10-minute episode, I’m opening up with you to share:
I hope that this episode will help you understand a little bit more about who I am as a person and how that impacts my business and the work I do with my clients. I also hope that you take some time to reflect on the challenging times in your life to connect the dots to see where they led you.
