Friday, September 30th, 2022: This week in the sustainability news cycle…

The Pope enters the group chat…and he’s throwing the proverbial hammer down on the older generation (himself included). Not only did he exclaim to one thousand young people that the older folks don’t know what they’re doing when it comes to protecting the planet, he said he’s pining all his hopes on the young guns.

The Sustainable Fashion Awards went down in Milan, but don’t worry if you don’t know what they are. We’d never heard of them either, and there’s a pretty glaring reason for that.

We chat through three different goings-on in the legal department. Covering everything from the recent UN ruling, to ‘climate anxiety’ being used as part of a defensive strategy, all the way to Germany being sued by citizens over dangerously high air pollution.

Then Kristen shares just how cool her friend group is, with one member creating the world’s first carbon-negative jet fuel. Trays up, seat belts on…we’re taking to you the sky in this episode.
