Weekly Wrap | Twitter, David Attenborough, Free public transport, Plastic bans, and Aesop
Friday, April 29, 2022: This week in the sustainability news cycle…
We need to talk about Twitter...and no, we don't mean Elon Musk throwing his hat in the ring to take over the top job. The Twitter camp announced a new advertising policy that'll see paid posts which deny, misrepresent, or spread misinformation on climate change banned on the site.
Staying over the pond, the man, the legend himself SIR David Attenborough has been crowned Champion of the Earth and you can't get a title more accurate than that in our books.
Plus, Aesop's new refill stations, single-use plastic bans having a tangible and real-time positive effect, and free public transport inspiring more Aussies to make the greener choice. Oh, there might be a mention or two of some cute animals as well...but you'll have to listen and see!
