The most popular and historic commercial establishment in Neutral Bay is The Oaks Hotel which opened in 1885. As the social hub of the suburb, The Oaks is an institution where lower north shore residents relax, celebrate, or enjoy a quiet drink. It’s certainly not a place locals go, expecting to not make it home.
