Meet Ginie Servant-Miklos, assistant professor at Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences and Clinical Psychology in Rotterdam, NL.
In her work, Ginie addresses the wicked problems and the many crises we are in — and the education and pedagogies we need to deal with them.
Among other things, introduces us to Collapsology and how to deal with the end of civilization as we know it. The term “Phallic Techno-Magic” also appears. Twice.

There are overlaps between bildung (character development) and psychological development, between bildung-pedagogy and developmental psychology; together with Lene Rachel Andersen, Lene Tanggaard and Gregg Henriques discuss similarities and differences between bildung and psychology. They also discuss why psychology has acquired such a prominent role in business as well as in education today, in the West, why we are in a mental health crisis, and whether developmental psychology is even a good idea.
