The Homestead is Doing Incredible Work
Joining me are Rachel and Kim from The Homestead Nursery, a reggio inspired, outdoor loving setting in beautiful Wales. Theirs is an inspirational journey! From buying an established nursery to turning it into something incredibly special. These women hold research-informed practice dear to the hearts. They have set about opening The Homestead, coming from their roles as Early Years Teacher, and Midwife and Health Visitor. I think this makes for a really wonderfully unique setting for young children, with a firm foundation in knowledge of child development.

KIN Nature Kindergarten in all weathers
Joining me is Sal Preston, a pioneer who set up Monmouthshire's first outdoor nursery in 2019. The thing that I find about people who set up projects like this on their own, is the sheer amount of determination and passion it takes. It may have been a tough first year, but there is also so much potential growth to come in today's new outdoor-focused world!
