Val Werner, an adoptive mother to a Chilean adoptee in the United States
In this episode we are welcoming Val Werner, as an adoptive mother to a Chilean adoptee living in the United States.
Val talks about the desire that she and her husband had to adopt a baby and how they involuntarily became victims of adoption fraud in a corrupt system. Through this episode, Val is giving a voice to her disabled son, who cannot speak, about his irregular and illegal adoption.
In summary; Val states that there are many questions that will probably never be answered. What happened that caused Andy's brain damage; how did Telma Uribe partner with the American Adoption Agency? Did the agency know that it was adoption fraud, and many more questions...
Regardless of these questions, Andy is greatly loved and has impacted the lives of many people, without ever saying a word.

CAW Invites adoptees: Mirjam - Part 2
In this 2nd episode we are welcoming Mirjam, a Chilean adoptee, again to continue her story.
She was adopted to the Netherlands which appears to be one of the very first to be adopted in 1972 from Chile. Her very religious adoptive parents were found not to be fit to adopt by the Dutch Child Protection authorities. However through various private Limburg Catholic orders, they still managed to get around the system and were able to adopt her.
In the search for her roots, Mirjam connected with the International Social Services (ISS) who advised her to connect with a Dutch nun and her sister, who was in charge of an orphanage in Santiago de Chile and that they also could help with family reunions. After a sum of money was paid, the Dutch nun agreed to help her and connected her to a family in Chile.
20 years later through DNA it appears that the family she was connected to, was not her biological family…

CAW Invites adoptees: Charlotta Haggren
In this episode we are welcoming Charlotta Haggren, A Chilean adoptee who was adopted to Sweden. She will talk us through her journey of her adoption.
In her adoption papers she found a document stating that she is one the first "trial adoptions" to Sweden. In addition, she shares her point of view with regards to her youth where she experienced intense moments of discrimination from different parts of the Swedish society,
Being part of a multi-cultural family, they needed support and involvement from the local police in order to put a stop to the harassments.

CAW Invites: Christina Birkemose, A Danish politician with a mission
Christina Birkemose is a local politician from Denmark, elected for the Social Democratic Party. Christina lives in Faxe Municipality where she is a member of the community council board and 2.vice mayor (since 1st of January 2018).
She is known for her work of shedding light on the irregularities concerning Chilean adoptive children in Denmark, thus leading to a public investigation of six individual cases.

Jessica Pincheira tells about her journey to Chile when she met her biological family for the first time
In this episode we continue with the journey of Jessica, Co-Founder of CAW. In 2019 she travels to Chile to meet her biological family for the first time after 36 years. Jessica was stolen from the hospital in Concepción only three days after she was born, to then be adopted in Belgium when she was 8 months old.

Años duros y tristes para millones de chilenos que vivieron el horror de la tortura, los secuestros, las desapariciones de personas y las adopciones irregulares, en manos de profesionales y agentes de estado chileno en total impunidad.
