The Mayor of Nazaré
This episode - The Mayor of Nazaré. On a wild yet flat day in Spring 2016, we travelled to the fishing town of Nazaré in Portugal. Today, Nazaré is world renowned for producing the biggest waves on the planet, but less than 10 years ago the spot was completely unknown to the international surfing community. We wanted to find out how the town had transformed since the arrival of big wave surfing.
