In order to grow, you need failure. Understand and accept failure as a part of life. We often experience that learning is more effective in failure than in success because failure teaches us what works and what does not. When we embrace our strengths or limitations – we become better. People are often so afraid they’ll fail at something that they don’t try. Don’t be one of those people. Everyone has failed at something in his or her life, but not everyone tries again and again. World hard every day to reach your goals and you will. Keep going and you will find success. Subscribe! 502: The Way to Build Wealth, with Chris Hogan
Chris Hogan: Everyday Millionaires Chris Hogan is a best-selling author, a personal finance expert, and America’s leading voice on retirement, investing, and building wealth. His goal is to help as many people as possible avoid financial traps and set their families up for the future. His book Retire Inspired: It’s Not an Age; It’s a Financial Number* is a number one national best seller, and The Chris Hogan Show has millions of downloads. He is also the author of Everyday Millionaires: How Ordinary People Built Extraordinary Wealth―and How You Can Too*. In this conversation, Chris and I discuss the national study that his organization conducted on everyday millionaires. We address some of the common misconceptions about millionaires. Plus, we detail both the mindset and behaviors that millionaires have that support the creation of wealth. Key Points The top three occupations for millionaires are engineer, accountant, and teacher. Millionaires steer clear of debt. Millionaires have a mentality of abundance vs. scarcity. They embrace change and usually see adversity as an opportunity for growth. Millionaires are frugal, not flashy. They spend less than the general population on groceries, restaurants and clothing. Employer sponsored retirement plans are a key vehicle the vast majority of millionaires use to build wealth. Only 1 in 5 millionaires receive any kind of inheritance. The supply chain challenges of vaccinating 8bn people: Part 2 - a chat with Chris Roediger
This is the second of my two part podcast series on the challenges of vaccinating everyone against Covid-19. If you missed episode one with Alina Gross, you can check it out here. Background - in August a colleague of mine Alina Gross (@gross_alinaa on Twitter) penned an excellent in-depth piece of Forbes titled The Next Supply Chain Challenge: How To Vaccinate The World. I was reminded of that recently when Pfizer and BioNTech announced the successful results of their vaccine trials. A couple of days later I was made aware that SAP announced its Vaccine Collaboration Hub (VCH) to address many of the challenges highlighted in Alina's article. I reached out to Alina, and members of the VCH team to see if they'd come on the podcast to discuss this unique supply chain challenge, and they agreed, so here we are. In this episode Chris Roediger talks about how SAP's Vaccine Collaboration Hub is addressing many of the issues facing the successful rollout of a vaccine to the world's nearly 8 billion people. This was a really interesting episode of the podcast. I thoroughly enjoyed it, I learned loads, and I hope you do too. If you have any comments/suggestions or questions for the podcast - feel free to leave me a voice message over on my SpeakPipe page or just send it to me as a direct message on Twitter/LinkedIn. Audio messages will get played (unless you specifically ask me not to). To learn more about how Industry 4.0 technologies can help your organisation read the 2020 global research study 'The Power of change from Industry 4.0 in manufacturing' (https://www.sap.com/cmp/dg/industry4-manufacturing/index.html) And if you want to know more about any of SAP's Digital Supply Chain solutions, head on over to www.sap.com/digitalsupplychain and if you liked this show, please don't forget to rate and/or review it. It makes a big difference to help new people discover it. Thanks. And remember, stay healthy, stay safe, stay sane!
