We've both seen it twice now and we coudnt wait to turn on the mics and let you know what we thought of the newest edition to the MCU. Welcome to a bonus episode of Heroes of Noise. This is another peak at what we're doing over on Patreon.
For Episode 48 we're joined by our friend Chris Lowe of the band Volk. This episode starts off with a "cold open" as we're mid conversation when the intro ends. The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert
Welcome to Episode 194
It's been a few weeks since we dropped a new episode and we're glad to be back. Last weekend a special thing happened and we chose to devote this episode to it. We're referring to the "Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert" that took place at Wembley Stadium and streamed live on Paramount+. It was an emotional concert to say the least with so many performers paying tribute to one of the greats.
If you weren't aware you can still catch this monumental concert as well as an abridged version on Paramount+. We highly recommended that you do so.

Bonus Episode - A Chat with Stuntman Preshas Jenkins
Welcome back!
We're so excited to bring this bonus episode to you. This is literally the most fun we've had doing an "interview". Why the quotation marks? It's because it didn't feel like an interview to us. This was like chatting with an old friend once we got going. As a bonus, our good friend Johnny Bucks from "Ooh! Electric Shock!" podcast joins the conversation. It was good times, people. "Stuck In The Middle" Returns and Introducing "City or Silly"
Welcome to Episode 185
This week we decided do a non-review episode so we just turned on the mics and let it rip. Sometimes good things happen when we go off the cuff and this week it worked in our favor (at least we thought so).
Because we just decided to riff, Gamemaster Hudson introduces a brand new game called "City or Silly" (Working Title). We also ended up bringing back a listener favorite and played a few rounds of "Stuck In The Middle"; the game where we take the songs you think you know well and scramble your brain by sometimes proving that you really dont.
This is a shorter episode but we thick you'll like it. Let us know what you think of the games this week as we are very much considering fleshing out SITM and possibly making it a video game show where we get our listeners involved.

Oscar Nominations, For All Mankind (S1E1-2), Calls, The One, and Corporate Animals
Welcome to Episode 151

Disney Investor's Day 2020, Moonbase 8 and Heaven's Gate: Cult Of Cults
Welcome to Episode 139.
It was a busy week for us last week so we're getting this one out to you late. It's also going to be a shorter show this week as we truly are squeezing this one in so we can stay at least a little consistent.

The Haunting Of Bly Manor, No Escape, and Hatchet
Welcome to Episode 132!
This week we're joined by our friends Spoiler Steve and Kova from Scene-It Cast. Right off the bat we want to let you know that though it certainly would be festive, the fact that this particular episode is a "Frankenstein's Monster", at least where the audio is concerned. When it was time to put the show together it turned out that there were multiple audio issues causing entire sentences to be inaudible. Greetings citizens!
Welcome back to another episode from ya boys. We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their weekend.This week aside from the movies we've watched we tackle topics ranging from the proper protocol for handling unsolicited viewings of family pictures, hormone therapy and the threat of low testosterone, and people that can't tell that they stink. Steve also pulls out a surprise round of "Shakespeare The Title" as well.
As far as what we've watched, Dan has seen The Grudge, Frozen 2, and Cats and he gives his thoughts on those. We've both seen Dolemite Is My Name and we'll tell you right now that we're coming back to this one. Neither one of us were ready and we have a lot more to say about that one. Episode 79 - The Noise Talks “The Boys”
* Greetings to the Heroes of Noise Community for the second time this week. Welcome to Episode 79. We brought a friend a long for this one in the form of one Johnny Bucks.
This week we devote an entire episode to the adaptation of Garth Ennis' The Boys, which was recently released on Amazon Prime Video. This show was tailor made for us and we seriously could go on and on about it. However, we decided to keep this to mostly non-spoilers so that the people that haven't seen it yet, or perhaps the ones that are swayed by this podcast will go in fresh. There are a couple moments where we do get into spoilers but we do give you warning so you can jump ahead if you want to.

Greetings, Citizens! Dan here.
I don't mean to show favoritism, but this bonus episode is for the rabid Star Wars fans that can't get enough of the just released Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker teaser trailer.
Sure it was only 2 minutes long, but that didn't stop special guest Johnny Bucks and I (Steve sat this one out) from breaking it down scene by scene. Listen in as we give our thoughts on the brand new teaser trailer.

We went to see a sneak preview of Shazam and have quite a bit to say about that in a non spoiler discussion. Episode 49 - Steve's Pyramid Scheme, Birdbox, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, and Mary Poppins Returns
Happy New Year, Citizens! The year has come and gone and we couldn't let it pass without putting out one more show. Welcome to Episode 49.
This week Steve confesses to once being involved in a pyramid scheme, We've both seen Bird Box and give our thoughts on it, Dan watched Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and also went to see Mary Poppins Returns. This creates a whole other segment where we discuss whether or not Mary Poppins was a witch or some other immortal being. Like...seriously. Think about it, folks. It's borderline terrifying.

Greetings, true believers! Welcome to Episode 43. Hope you liked the Stan Lee tribute we did in the intro. We were going to talk about his death a lot more but ran out of time. So unfortunately you just get the intro and a few words at the end. Sometimes it's not good to bury the lede. RIP, Stan. You'll be missed by many.
Before we give you the breakdown, we'd like to apologize for the sound quality on this episode. We had to record in a different fashion than we normally do and as a result, you will hear a lot of background noise and things that we'd normally be able to mute out. With Steve being sick on this one, you'll hear a lot of hacking. We normally use 2 vocal tracks and can edit that stuff out. This time it's all on one track and there wasn't much we could do to fix it. We did what we could though. Give us a pass on this one, will ya? We'll be back to normal next week.

Episode 36 - Sons of Anarchy Rewatch, DC Universe First Impressions, Superfriends, Wonder Woman, & Forever
Ladies and Gentlemen, The Heroes of Noise are back with yet another podcast. We've got no plans of stopping either. Not too many reviews this week but we do get into a discussion about Dan's Sons of Anarchy Rewatch and his feelings about Mayans MC so far. He also gives his first impressions of the launch of DC Universe and his love of retro tv that includes Superfriends as well as 1975's Wonder Woman starring Linda Carter. Steve brings the new Amazon series Forever to the discussion as well.

Episode 32 - Some Quick Reviews, Celebrity Encounters, Travel Aspirations, and the Chris Hardwick Shake-Up
Happy Belated Father's Day! This week we hit you with a pregame-style show. That's not to say we don't discuss any pop culture. It just means we don't go quite as in depth as we normally do. Greeting, Citizens! This week we relaunched our other podcast, The Word: The Unofficial PREACHER Podcast
You know what? It felt damn good to be back. So good in fact that we decided to use our PREACHER Season 3 Pregame (see what we did there?) as Episode 30.
No, we're not being lazy. We just wanted to use this to cross promote and quite possibly turn some of you good people on to a great show and what is looking to be a great season. Possibly the best yet.

Episode 29 - Solo: A Star Wars Story
What's up, everyone?! Dan here. This week on Episode 29 we dive deep into Solo: A Star Wars Story. This was originally intended to be a Heroes of Noise One Off and was only going to be 20 minutes or so. Turns out Johnny Bucks has great timing and was available to sit in for Steve so I invited him to unpack the latest Star Wars movie with me. Our 20 minutes turned into 2 hours plus of deep Star Wars geekery, which is really no surprise at all.

Episode 27 - Avengers: Infinity War (SPOILERS)
What’s up, everyone ? Dan here. The fact that you’re reading this is amazing to me. I’ve been editing podcasts since 2005. THIS SHOW... was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had editing. I recently switched from PC to Mac. Easy enough. But I f***ed up. To spare you the long story, I made a mistake and did something that PCs say “no problem” to but Macs say “no dice.” to. I had to edit this show (the longest show we’ve ever done) THREE TIMES!!!
Anyway.. sorry for the tardiness. I realize you may have heard a million reviews already but if you're down for one more, It’s time to talk Infinity War. This week, we have Johnny Bucks with us and he kills it. Steve is only around for half the show but also kills it. Episode 25 - "Raw Doggin' It"
First off, if you're new to the show, this is not how we normally do the main podcast. This one is more like one of our pregames where we sit and chat about anything and everything. We were honestly just too busy this week to watch anything new. People ask us all the time how we're able to watch as much as we do. Here's the truth: Sometimes...we just can't.
That said, we didn't want to come off lazy. We had to at least put something down for you so in a moment of tackiness, we decided to "raw dog" and episode. You'll even get a tutorial on cooking a rocking steak. We can't expect you to show up if we can't be consistent. We promise we'll be back next week with the goods, but for now please enjoy this longer version of one of our Pregames.

EP 22 PREGAME
Yo! Dan Here. This week we bring you a longer pregame as we haven't been consistent with them and we had some catching up to do. I'll start off by saying that I'm recovering from a brutal case of "Con Flu" and had to get loaded up with medication to make this week's podcasts happen. TOTALLY had "flu brain".
