Being a traditional graphic designer and fresh out of college when the recession hit around 2008, Marie had to find ways to add value to herself as an employee, or risk being laid off. She did that by learning website design and development. Now being able to speak to both the creative and technical sides of digital design, Marie is blazing trails and is providing more value than ever to her employer and the clients she works with daily basis.
