Episode 190: Stop Running Your Mouth...
Do you have a particular night that you set aside for your partner? Many couples do and it’s typically called date night. Well, for Envy & Gia, Monday night is one of theirs; and they spend it watching The Bachelor. Have you become obsessed too? A recent episode sparked a topic for discussion, “Do you think that you could marry someone if your parents didn’t approve of them? If you had to choose between moving forward with your partner and following your parents intuition about them, which would you lean toward? Or, on the flip side, “As a parent would you try to influence who your children date or marry?” The Caseys discuss how they would handle it if they were in either of these predicaments... The 📧 Emails Of The Week 📧 are comprised of two emails... 1.) The first begs the question, What would you do if you were in a situation in which your partner routinely chooses to share your personal business with friends and coworkers? What would your opinion of them be? Are you more private or outspoken about the events in your life? Gia shares how she feels about men running their mouths... 2.) This emailer Is having a tough time choosing between staying in a home where she feels unwanted in order to save money and wanting to buy property of her own but questions whether she can actually afford it or not. Envy shares some of his real estate knowledge and gives advice to the torn listener... Let’s talk about it 🗣🗣🗣

Period Sis: POF (Ft. Melissa Felix)
At the age of 37, the doctor told me, “You have the body of a 51-year-old post-menopausal women” - Melissa Felix If that sentence shocked you as much as it shocked me, you’ll be even more surprised to hear that it’s more common than you think. A missed period here and there, and hot flashes that we dismiss as "dehydration” can be our body's way of signaling a larger problem for us to address.  In this episode, we will unpack what premature ovarian failure (POF) is with our special guest Melissa Felix. Melissa bravely shares her journey about undergoing menopause earlier than she anticipated and her “trial & error” fiasco with the doctors that she saw. The vulnerability and misfortune with seeking proper diagnosis brought both the guest and myself to tears!  Please make it a priority to get a reoccurring check-up and seek preventative care. Please share this episode with a friend so they can prioritize their health also.

EXONERATED: Run This Man His MONEY $$$
Very little turns our stomachs like false accusations, false convictions, and false imprisonments. It’s time up for that sh*t. And we’re getting to the nitty and the gritty of it on this episode of Holding Court with Jimmy Dennis who was exonerated after spending 25 years on death row for a crime he didn’t commit. We’ve also got some insight into what just happened to “Central Park Karen” Amy Cooper’s misdemeanor charge (you won’t like it), who’s suing R&B darling H.E.R. for copyright infringement, Kim and Kanye’s pending divorce and how those assets will split, and the Powerball winner from North Carolina whose ex is now suing her! For every nine people executed, one person on death row has been exonerated. Learn more at Equal Justice Initiative and race and the death penalty by the numbers. Follow Eboni K.
