In that, by very definition, you're performing beyond expectations, so if you have expectations, by definition, you won't achieve peak performance, so you can perform, and this is where ego comes in because people in the selling profession want to be able to say, Oh, I was responsible for the success, I really tried, and I got what I tried for. Well, if you tried for it you're not going to have peak performance.”
