Rozenboom, BSN, RN, CWON, and Mary Mahoney, MSN, RN, CWOCN, CFCN as they speak about their session from WOCNext 2020 Reimagined titled, “Chronic Tissue Injury: Recognizing & Publishing Clinical Issues”. Barbara and Mary explain their telehealth practice model for WOC care in their homecare agency, UnityPoint at Home, answer audience questions from their live session, and speak to their work with chronic tissue injury. 

 

Their session from WOCNext 2020 Reiminaged focuses on raising awareness for unique tissue injuries and working towards the goal to have consistent terminology to describe tissue injury in skin classification systems for correct and reliable selection by all healthcare providers. In addition, the lecture covers how the authors identify the clinical problem and the process it takes to bring the clinical issue to publication.
