Ep 62: Interview with Shannon Greenwood-Founder, Rebelle Community
Play • 24 min

This week I interview Shannon Greenwood, founder of Rebelle Community.

I really enjoyed hearing Shannon’s inspirational story about how she made a huge life pivot transition and went from burnout to thriving business community.

Shannon had a successful brick and mortar business which was very profitable, but the price of success was too much at the time. She was not happy and not enjoying life.

She started to reach out to friends and colleagues about what they were experiencing and found that others were going through the same challenges. After discovering the need for a support group, she decided to be part of the solution with the formation of ‘Rebelle Con’, a conference to discuss the issues women are facing and to start the conversation on how supporting each other can have a huge impact.

But the success of that one event led to the formation of Rebelle Community which helps others to support and connect with one another in a much deeper and holistic way.

Shannon also helps women gain clarity with their business startup concept through personal coaching so they can test the feasibility of their business idea.

Rebelle Community eventually evolved into additional, paid services that offers in person network events and peer membership programs.

Shannon adds, “The goal for Rebelle Community is that I want to create fulfillment for more women and that doesn’t necessarily have to come from career success.”

Rebelle Community also helps women that are making that later in life pivot through ‘transition points’, as Shannon calls it, when it’s time for a serious, re-evaluation of what they really want to do with their career, business or purpose in life.
