Live With Greg – Season 8 Episode 66 – The Flow
This episode was amazing. First off, Michelle is an amazing woman; and I am honored to be friends with her. The lady is fire!! AND, i am grateful for her giving her time for this episode... truth be told; it isn't her favorite - and she still greenlit it to go live. That's the kind of champion she is. So, I am going to follow-up with her link to her site: https://www.michellevenezianodo.net And here bio, and I hope her knowledge helps you get your juices flowing! Michelle Veneziano, DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine), is a family physician, intuitive, and an adjunct clinical professor at Touro University in Northern California. Her approach to osteopathic medicine is rooted in Cranial Osteopathy, a hands-on, evidence-based therapeutic practice that sources both western & eastern philosophies to support the body’s ability to heal itself. She shares practices and insights for awakening the doctor that resides within each of us, for connecting with who we really are and for living in alignment with nature.

Live With Greg – Season 8 Episode 65 – Racial Equity Transformation
This episode is a wonderful follow-up to last month's episode. Below is from Deborah's bio... and her sharing her time for this episode is a great gift. I hope you accept this gift with the grace with which it was given. If you're interested in contacting her, she may be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Deborah McKnight has been centering race and racial equity for over 30 years. She believes in the power of strong and equitable instructional environments to change lives. Upon moving to the US Virgin Islands from her native New York and implementing the first special education model of its kind on the island of St. John she witnessed this firsthand. There she was voted “Best Teacher” by the community and the Virgin Islands Daily News because of her ability to positively impact the lives of her students. Not everything that is faced can be changed but nothing can be changed until it is faced. — James Baldwin This work is both personal and professional for me. Race has been used to sort and classify students since Brown vs. Board of Education and when I was growing up in New York it was either college track or vocational track in high school. I often think back to my oldest brother, when the White guidance counselor insisted he be placed in the vocation track. He wouldn’t be the doctor he is today if my White mother allowed this for her brilliant Black son and insisted he be placed in the college readiness courses. Tracking has since given way to Gifted Education, AP Honors, and our current special education system which has resulted in racial segregation under the guise of ability and “disability.”

Live With Greg – Season 8 Episode 64 – “Be Good to Yourself”
It is good medicine; this season eight opener. Toast is one of my brothers; blood in - blood out. And I learned from this meeting with him... so I am grateful for this going live. Perhaps, you, too, will learn from our conversation... If nothing else, as Toast says in his out-going message: ...be good to yourself. What better wish is there for somebody? (And if you want his excellent services in your world, he can be reached via this business: Tim Wright Building and Electrical Services.)

Live With Greg – Season 7 Episode 63 – Chickeebob
Bob Wertzberger - daaaammmnnnnn! There is nothing but a good vibe in my life from this gentleman! Wertz introduced me to a lot of the music that first formed my appreciation for... Rock n Roll! Van Halen, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, U.F.O.… all first heard with, and because of, Wertzberger! We liked it loud. We even had a lunch hour radio show that we pre-recorded and broadcast in the HHS cafeteria. Not yet open to the nuance of genre — and plethora of possibility — it was a very one-sided presentation of the music listened to by the student body. Wertz was one of my solid hang-outs, adventurers, buddies… and it was great to hang with him again, in the autumn of our years… and find that brotherhood is as solid today as it ever was. I recommend listening to more of his music, under the names: Bobnoxious: Soundcloud | Pandora Chickeebob: BA Punk | Facebook | Hear Now

Live With Greg – Season 7 Episode 62 – Black Lives Matter
I appreciate this episode very much - with a close friend and guide; Marc Wendt. I trust him absolutely with the potentially volatile topic we broached this episode - and I know he has a solid experience in dissecting and learning about his own place in a racist system. And he is devoted to being part of the healing and eradication of racism. So... we ventured forth. Part of my trust stems from the knowledge from experience that our faux pas aren't game-stoppers; they're to be learned from - part of the process of healing. Thus, I don't need to avoid areas of challenge. I hope you, also, appreciate this timely episode. If interested, the course Marc refers to is, “heal thyself diversity intensive for people racialized as white”. More about it - and signing up can be found here: https://www.intersectionformankind.com/remember-institute-courses/healthyself And if you are interested in hiring an amazing, and very dedicated life coach in your life - I highly recommend working with Marc. His site is at https://www.marcwendtcoaching.com/.

Live With Greg – Season 7 Episode 61 – Shadows and Light
One of my favorite songs is by Joni Mitchell: Shadows and Light. I have the pleasure of presenting another great artist, Nora Bruhn. I came across her work via the Paint The Void Project in San Francisco. This great, big, gorgeous flower erupted on my screen - full bloom. I chatted with Nora and found her to be very open... and luckily, she's green lit this episode of LWG. She's a neighbor, an artist, and a brave creative explorer of this physical realm - we definitely got into a discussion about shadows and light. You can explore more about her here: https://www.konorebi.com And I think I'd be remiss to not have link to Paint the Void: "Giving grants to artists for safeguarding hope and beauty in the wake of COVID-19" https://paintthevoid.org/ ...you'll learn a lot about Nora in this episode. Again, her openness I found very refreshing - and damn; she's talented! Enjoy #D11 #LWG

Live With Greg – Season 7 Episode 60 – An Open-mind and a Willingness to be Guided
Episode Sixty… is an episode that should have happened a long time ago. Christopher is a brother—heart to heart. Like a true brother, He's pissed at me sometimes. And he pisses me off sometimes. We went through a pretty heavy bout about a year ago... half a year ago... ?? I'm not sure. But we were talking with each other within a week's time; when he gave me a raving testimonial for my skills as a producer. He took me off the streets, and has shared his intimate life with me from day one of us knowing each other. AND... if you want someone who can help you kick what ever addiction is driving you nuts; he's a number one coach/sponsor. Here's his Clean & Sober site: https://www.cleanandsobercoach.com He's got a work in progress, interviews and exploration about Love, Sex, and Relationships: https://ahumanaffair.com/ He's the most honest person I know, struggling in the mire of "who am i?" like the rest of us. It's an honor to present, my Broham… Christopher Dienstag.

Live With Greg – Season 7 Episode 59 – More Betta With Mo Black
Episode 59 is with special guest; Mo Black! I met Mo many years ago, and was struck. She's a bright light. I came to meet her family a bit over the years - and they all shine brightly. One thing I have always counted on when hanging with Mo, we're going to be engaged in some real talk. This episode is rich in content and thought...

Live With Greg – Season 7 Episode 58 – B
Episode 58 is with special guest; Jonah Dunkel Wilker! I want to thank my son for stepping in at the last second... And that's who Jonah is. Besides being a brilliant musician/producer, having a great sense of humor… he also is a deeply resonant thinker empathetic to people in his life. To me, he is "B". I think this episode sheds a little glimmer of light into who he is... a little...

Live With Greg – Season 7 Episode 57 – Habibi
Season 7 continues, still, in quarantine. 2020 is historically, on a global level, one of the strangest recorded times in human history. And Habibi remains, for me, on a global scale, one of the most beloved and amazing human beings I know. She's honored me with a third guest spot, for the third episode of Live With Greg.

Live With Greg – Season 7 Episode 55 – Anew
Season 7 starts off well, with special guest Dr. Leslie Purchase. I met Leslie when she reached out to her community, wanting to communicate with diverse perspectives from her own. As she put it, "Recently, I have been doing some reading that has challenged me to recognize the cognitive biases and faulty thinking that probably has led me to some incorrect conclusions in life." I met with her and appreciated the dialogue and open communication. More and more I experience the healing balm communication is. It brings us together. I hope you enjoy this new episode of LIVE WITH GREG... or LIVE WITH GREG, depending on your pronunciation.

Live With Greg – Season 6 Episode 54 – From Momz, with Love
I am extremely grateful for this episode; it is a Divine Gift to finish strong. Season Six I don't think could finish any stronger. I have three living mothers in my life right now; my blood mom and two others who love me deeply and are Spiritual guides. This is one of them; Momz (Addie). I know Momz to be a deeply loving, strong human being… and have come to know her even more deeply in recent years. (She helped raise me since high school) I was not expecting to learn such a moving story of challenges overcome. And what is most important to me; overcome with nothing but Love for all involved. That's real strength/Real Love… and, here's the photo of her with her horse post storm in Nicaragua. Enjoy!

Live With Greg – Season 6 Episode 53 – Effective Communication
This month's podcast guest is a real treat. We rarely see each other; and Miriam is definitely a friend. She's also "a coach, mediator, lawyer, negotiator and linguist—a master communicator&hellp; Mom, wife, (mentioned) friend… And as her current career path is concentrating on communication, well, I am excited about this one. I know of no other healing balm more powerful then communication. To quote one of my favorite books, “Communication ends separation.” So, let's join together… and travel into this realm of exploring effective communication, community and the ending of separation. Oh, ye—if you'd like to know more about Miriam, perhaps ask her for aid in your life, she can be found at https://moderatr.com. ENJOY

Live With Greg – Season 6 Episode 51 – New Mother Nature Taking Over
I was going to use apocalypse in the name of this episode… it seems more fitting to use something upbeat; supportive. And I don't really think it's the new Mother Nature taking over — I think she's just speaking with more strength so we'll listen. This is a very exciting episode for me, with special guest, Mark Northcross. His experience and first-hand accounting of what is happening is, well, a solid wake-up call. This is from Mark's LinkedIn bio: I have worked as a public finance professional since 1981. I started at John Nuveen & Company, became of founding partner of Kelling Northcross & Nobriga, and then started my own firm with Craig Hill in 1996, where I have been since. Prior to 1981 I was an environmental consultant, preparing and presenting EIR's for California cities and counties. Live With Greg – Season 6 Episode 50 – Friendship, Love and Truth
It is truly an honor to have as my guest for episode 50, historian and Odd Fellow, Peter Sellars. Peter and I were in the same class at Hayward High School. I knew he joined the Marines right out of high school - and we pretty much lost track of each other until a high school reunion a few years back. I recently heard him on a different podcast talk about the conspiracy against the leaders of the United States of which Lincoln's assassination was a part of. I was also very interested in his quest to find out how the moral code of the Odd Fellows, "Friendship, Love and Truth", was upheld during the United States Civil War. I, too, find it of upmost interest and a personal goal - to uphold the practice and valor of Love at the times when it is most challenging to myself. The following is from his current book, How Friendship, Love, and Truth, Survived the American Civil War... and I hope you appreciate episode 50 as much as I do. Live With Greg – Season 6 Episode 49 – Late, Audio, Life
Part of why I continue to do my podcast is a practice in discipline. And adapting to get an episode out is part of the process… so this episode is live - audio only. And it's late. …and my special guest is Justin Nesbitt. I met Justin one the production of BAJA—he's one of the producers. He's also an actor, musician/rapper, stand-up comedy… is there anything this guy doesn't do? What I've observed and come to admire, is he is always himself. And he brings and gives kindness equally to everyone in every situation. You can check out his IMDb—and I hope you enjoy listening to episode forty-nine with my special guest, Justin Nesbitt.

Live With Greg – Season 6 Episode 48 – Long Day’s Journey Into Night
This is a tribute interview - a tribute to those who travel this life with Huntington's Disease. A tribute to Rolando, my guest Barbara Leistico's husband. A tribute to those suffering from any disease. It is a tribute to those who survive to see the light on the other end of their long day's journey into night — and a prayer for this who won't this time 'round. I'm deeply grateful to Barbara's sharing her intimate journey with me… and for her giving the green light — even with Daisy, who is not a poltergeist, digging her way through the living-room carpet… don't worry — she stops after a bit. (then she starts up again / ha ha ha)

Live With Greg – Season 6 Episode 47 – A Deeper Look
This is a follow-up episode. Barry really wanted to be able to show his work. He expressed interest in wanting to do a follow-up… And it makes sense to me: The picture is worth ten thousand words. So — i threw out the standard sitting down format that I've been working with for the past five seasons and we shot episode 47 Cinéma Vérité style. Besides; my quest is to find the rules that can't be broken and live by them. Barry may not agree, an artist's work is very personal to them — yes? However, I think in the infinite energy of life, Barry reaches into the flow and pulls out a moment, maintaining the essence of the infinite and showing it in a caught moment. I especially see it with his dogmotion series — there is one image in particular that remains with me; communicating infinite life in motion. However, art is best experienced for oneself. So I hope you enjoy this off the rule book episode 47. And I recommend checking out all Barry's works that he has online at: bar…

Live With Greg – Season 6 Episode 46 – Patience (Season opener)
Season Six opens with someone I am very fond of — he sets a fine example for me. I see in him a lot of the attributes I want to live strongly by; mostly Joy and Patience. Needless to say, I am very heartened to be opening my sixth season with him as a guest. This bio is from his website: Photography intrigued me as a teenager, I attended my first workshop in 1973 at The Naples Mills School of Arts and Crafts near Ithaca, New York. My college career yielded a BA in photography from Goddard College in 1978 and included a semester at the San Francisco Art Institute. My vision is to capture and express images that both embrace and reach beyond the here and now. Photography is an alchemical process – the subject is the raw material, the gold is an image that expresses universal truth beyond that subject, one that makes us think and remember, and ultimately, see the world in a new and different light. I highly recommend you take a look at his work on his website: barrytoranto.com. We…

Live With Greg – Season 5 Episode 45 – Kismet (Season Finale)
For the season finale of LWG, I had the honor to share time with September Williams, MD and Sarah E. Kornfeld. My words are going to fall short at this time to describe who they are and what our conversation was about. I can say it was at a telling time in US History as a new supreme court justice had been nominated and was going through the hearings involved with the confirmation process. This was taped about a month ago and a lot has transpired since that taping. Besides an overall uplifting, what I recall that wonderful afternoon spent with September and Sarah, is the healing communication regarding the charged political event of that confirmation process — and the overall bravery I witnessed in both women. Since words are falling short, or time and energy on my part, I am posting from their bios more about September & Sarah. September Williams is an American physician-writer, bioethicist and filmmaker. All of her work seeks a better understanding of and between ourselves. Sh…

She is immersed in exploring what Life is, a practitioner of Nature's Wicca ceremonies… I had some expectations for what we'd talk about and how things might go. Live With Greg – Season 5 Episode 43 – Controversy
I'm really happy with this episode… and I can't remember why. Other then the "go live" date, I can't remember why Controversy for a title seemed appropriate. I know we got into a pretty depthy conversation about 9/11 — I don't remember if it was/is on tape. So, without any further prologue, I introduce to you; artist extraordinaire: Alex Sandor (and if you find yourself in marin and wanting some creative styling with your hair, see if you can get a hold of him. you shan't be sorry.)

Terri Tate is a psychiatric nurse specialist and inspirational humorist. Terri was first diagnosed with disfiguring oral cancer in 1991, and is now a nationally recognized speaker and storyteller; a consultant who uses lessons from her own struggle to help support anyone facing life challenges; and a stand-up comedian with a popular one-woman show, Shopping as a Spiritual Path. (From Terri Tate's book, A Crooked Smile.) It was an absolute pleasure to be in Terri's company and hear her stories… this is one of my longest episodes I believe. For me, it wasn't long enough. Live With Greg – Season 4 Episode 34 – Gentle Awakenings
I was going to title this, "A Gentle Heart". I've named it after the book that "Kimmie" authored, GENTLE AWAKENINGS. I received a fabulous gift in being introduced to C. K. Chipman-Jonsson, and having her approval to do an episode with me. There are many gentle hearts I have met on this planet — she is one of the main ones shining the way. I think we all have gentleness in us. To live it moment to moment is a practice; one Kimmie took up long ago. The gift of her being still resonates with me. Perhaps you shall find a gift in her episode here. Enjoy. For every heart there is a season and like a skipping stone, we touch down briefly, before we disappear into the sea of life." ~ C. K. Live With Greg – Season 4 Episode 31 – Mom
It is the day before my Mother's 81st birthday… if anyone knows about the trials, tribulations, and joys of living with Greg — she does. i have a vivid memory of my mom, angry face with wooden spoon in hand, heading my way with intent to kill, or at least severely wound. and her chasing me around the dining-room table… same spoon, same intent—might have been a different time. :-) i also have a vivid memory of my mom telling me that the miracle was not only possible—it was happening. and it did. I had the pleasure of hanging out with Michael Gusek for episode #26. I first came to know of Michael from an article about his work with artificial intelligence and mass unstructured data. This is a topic of fascination for me. Learning that he lived close by, I contacted him with an invite to be a guest for LIVE WITH GREG. …and he agreed!! Michael is an "A.I. "With our proprietary library of full-spectrum Internet data and our new deep learning platform, we find patterns in large textual datasets, whether external to the network or internal to the enterprise." Live With Greg – Season 3 Episode 24 – Living Strong
It's 9/11. I'm grateful that this episode is with one of the strongest human beings i've ever known.. and he's physically strong; more important to me - his Spirit is strong. JT Peterson of Ripped Body Fitness honored me with his time and energy for episode 24. I've been graced with the opportunity to work out with JT, his brother Jake and training coach Marcus... I've learned about health, physical fitness and nutrition. Most importantly, I've learned by their example that it all comes from our strength of spirit. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I do - and if you're looking for support to help you change your life for the best, look up JT and Ripped Body Fitness. ~ Peace ~ RBF Official Site: http://rippedbodyfit.com/ RBF Podcast, "Vibe With Us": http://bit.ly/vibe-with-us RBF Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ripped-Body-Fitness/1469588589968861 JT Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jtfit89/ JT SnapChat: jtfit89

Live With Greg – Season 3 Episode 23 – Listen What The Man Said
For episode 23, I hung out with my close friend and brother, Timothy Talbot — or "Talbs" as he is often referred by. And mostly…? I listened. The man can spin a tale, I must say, as good as any Irish man can. There's some gems here - enjoy. :-) Tim's IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2074441/

Live With Greg – Season 3 Episode 22 – Side by Side
Well... this episode I have another technical glitch. This time the camera didn't record everything... however, the external mic got it all - and really, what is being communicated is what is most important - right? This episode I had the honor of spending time with Catherine Stone. I was introduced to her by my eldest daughter, Robyn, via helping out with a school project... and I was intrigued by what I saw at Catherine's home - and by Catherine herself. In her own words: "I am a birth and post-partum doula, and a lactation specialist. I support women in birth and afterwards. I teach soul to soul communication between mother and baby (and father and baby)." We discuss the balance of fe/male energies... and a peaceful life. You can learn more about Catherine here: http://motherangel.tumblr.com/about

Live With Greg – Season 3 Episode 21 – Good Medicine
I had the honor of spending time with Dr. Tom Pinkson - a shaman who lives in Marin County. Unfortunately; I wasn't on my best game - I didn't hear all the ambient noise until I was editing... darn it! However, I believe what Tom shared with me that day was very powerful/good information... and worth sharing. So please excuse the "noise" - and if you'd like to learn more about Dr. Pinkson's works, you find more here: http://drtompinkson.com

Live With Greg – Season 3 Episode 20 – Angels Among Us
I was, and remain, extremely honored to have an opportunity to spend time with one of my heroes: Michael Pritchard From his website: Michael Pritchard is a nationally acclaimed keynote speaker praised by the Wall Street Journal, CNN, and Time for his ability to use humor to inspire and educate his audiences on life skills. Using his unique humorous style, he empowers his young audience with social and emotional skills and influences them to make good choices. While in your community, Mr. Pritchard offers sessions for faculty, administration and parents as well as facilitating small break out sessions. I really could go on and on about him; I told you, he's one of my heroes! Probably best if you just sit back and listen… as I did. When in the presence of real-world wisdom: listening is a good idea. :-) If you are interested in Michael's services and gifts, you can find him at his website, michaelpritchard.com
