Lawrence Lessig & Laurence Tribe
Lawrence Lessig is an esteemed legal scholar, a pioneer in the field of cyber law, and the Roy L. Furman Professor of Law and Leadership at Harvard Law School, who defines his work as fighting “institutional corruption,” especially as it affects democracy. Laurence Tribe is one of roughly 70 professors in the history of Harvard University to receive the title “University Professor” as the Carl M. Loeb University Professor and Professor of Constitutional Law Emeritus at Harvard Law School. He’s appeared before the Supreme Court 35 times, and he even helped write the constitutions of South Africa, the Czech Republic, and the Marshall Islands. Heilemann invites the “Legal Larrys,” as he calls them, to discuss Trump and the Republicans’ attempts to invalidate the results of the election, if they stand a legal chance, and how their efforts are revealing flaws in our institutions and democracy.
