Unable to get a job or even a callback at the top of her marketing career, Barbara Brooks recognized that in most instances ageism was playing a role, so she decided to do something about it and went on to found Second Act Women, a community of women in their forties and fifties supporting each other. And now it's grown to thousands of women in a short amount of time, and she has really started a movement around age positivity.
