Joshua Kappel On The Problem With Proposition 122 & The Future Of Psychedelic Therapy
Play • 1 hr 10 min

Is there a dark side to the legalization of psilocybin?

Joshua Kappel is a founding partner of the law firm Vicente Sederberg and one of the leading attorneys in the psychedelic space.

As an attorney, he helped champion the effort to approve the Colorado Natural Medicines Health Act (A.K.A Prop 122). This law recently passed in Colorado decriminalizes psychedelics and creates a framework for legal, regulated access to psychedelics.

Today, Joshua joins Ronan for an in-depth discussion about Prop 122: a breakdown of how the program works, the arguments against and in favor of the law, and his predictions on the future of psychedelic therapy.

Watch/listen to learn more about Joshua's views on psychedelics from a public health standpoint, the problem with profiting from psilocybin, and some myths surrounding Prop 122.
