Note from Aimee J.: You can’t do it alone. Or maybe you can, you just won’t get as far as you would with people in your circle/network.
Topic: Your Network is Important
Action: Be genuine in getting to know the people around you. In both your professional and personal life. Don’t just ask something of them, because why should they help a stranger? I like to think that there are 5 levels to people relationships: strangers, acquaintances, friends, close friends, and family. Your level of familiarity and comfort to interact with one another is what defines categorizes your relationship. But be careful, because you might think of someone as a friend and they might think of you as an acquaintance. Be honest with yourself and mindful of who and what relationships you’re putting your energy into.
You deserve to be someone’s priority and not their afterthought.
You are Worthy.
Whether an Introvert or Extrovert or somewhere in between, you deserve to have friends.
You shouldn’t have to change to be someone’s friend. They should accept you for who you are. If they can’t handle you at your worst, they don’t deserve you at your best.
You are Awesome.
You are Loved.
You are Needed. And most importantly,
YOU ARE ENOUGH.
