030: “To da dit (a.k.a. 'to the death')." Event planning, pinay sisterhood in the hustle, and using trauma & death as a powerful motivator with Gina Mariko Rosales
Play • 47 min

Founder of Make It Mariko Events, Co-Founder of Undiscovered SF, and Founder of Entrepinays Summit Gina Mariko Rosales is an example of what it means to live every day fully. Inspired by the loss of her first cousin (to suicide) and uncle (to leukemia), “to da dit” became a mantra reminding us to never forget how precious our lives are, to appreciate every single day, and most importantly, to appreciate each other. Gina shares her life as an event planner in the SF Bay Area, building pinay sisterhood in the hustle, and how trauma and death can be a powerful motivator to make the world better.
