Diana is an incredible woman that has an incredible amount of perseverance, caring and courage. In her book Sideways: Memoir of a Misfit, she outlines her experiences growing up as a misfit in her family. During World War II, the Canadian and United States Governments ordered all citizens of Japanese Descent to be interned in isolation camps were they were segregated from the rest of society and unfairly discriminated against.
