Between long hours, dealing with customers who may not always be pleased with your work, and having to maintain a high level of skill, it can be difficult to keep your head on straight. In episode MR. T.I.M. invites Kira Lovelien to the show and they discuss some tips for avoiding burnout in barbering. He also provides some advice for maintaining your passion for the trade.

03:10 - They'll text me like two minutes before like, oh, I'm just going to be like a half an hour late, but you still need to get me in and I'm, like, I can't really get you in like that and then they expect for me to kind of accommodate them. 

11:35 If we're talking like a burnout, kind of, I would say, I usually try to take a vacation, just get out of town and get my mind clear. 

13:15 - Because it is just iron, sharpen, iron and stuff. And that's why it's very important to at least tap in with the industry.

14:14 -  So when I left and came back after a month, I was like hustle hustle, hustle. So now it's kind of like I need that refresher.
