There is potential to plumb the depths of our prime characters personas, and when they are pitted against their mirror counterparts, plenty of unique stories could be bred. It's also a ridiculous place that seems to rely entirely on the novelty of its own idea, and there is no shortage of "ham" contained within many of the performances of the main cast. Prompting questions: have we learned more about our prime characters as a result of their stints within the mirror universe? Did the writers spend too much time on plot versus character? Who was the best mirror character encountered in this block of episodes? Who is the character that we hoped to see and didn't?
