Sophie is the owner of Munchkin & Bear in Europe. The brand was the brainchild of a great friend of hers, Alana. Alana created Munchkin & Bear in 2016 in Australia when she couldn’t find a play mat for her kids which was both practical but also stylish meaning she didn’t have to sacrifice her beautiful home! Lots of R&D later and the first luxury padded play mat globally was launched. Sophie, decided not to return to her day job after maternity leave and kicked off the business in the UK in late 2018 with 1 year old twins literally playing on her play mat alongside her!
