She then fine-tuned her skills in emergency medicine and surgery during a rotating internship (Centre Vétérianire Rive Sud, 2014).
Kelly currently practices as a general and emergency medicine veterinarian at one of Canada’s largest veterinary hospitals, Centre Vétérinaire Laval.
Kelly’s other fields of interest include environmental policy, (MSc in Environmental Assessment, McGill University 2008 in conjunction with UNEP). Where through her research, based out of the African Development Bank in Tunisia, she developed tools to help incorporate environmental policy into its microfinance lending. She then worked as an environmental consultant in North and East Africa, assisting intermediary banks incorporate these environmental standards into the development projects they finance.
