This episode marks an all-new season of All Ways West Seattle, and a new partnership with the Southwest Seattle Historical Society. What better topic to begin with than the Historical Society itself?
We’ll start with origin stories from the early days with Gini Stimpson, daughter of Elliott Couden who led the vision for a local historical society. Next we hear from Maggie Kase, the Historical Society’s current Curator and Interim Executive Director, about what’s in store for the organization and Log House Museum in the near-term. And we also chat with Board President Kathy Blackwell about the value of community connections and plans for the future.
