Kendrick Avant aka Agent of Gratitude is 1SicB with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. He is a retired teacher and the host of the "Disabled but..." podcast. This warrior authentically opens up about being disabled in the African American community. Kendrick speaks of how he has overcome and continues to thrive by Gratitude. He teaches us how Gratitude is necessary to get through these undeniable, unimaginable, courageous battles that autoimmune warriors face. He spoke on the common statements that are said to Black men throughout life. Kendrick is a strong example of a positive black male in our community and that is why he definitely had to be certified as 1SicB.
