Won't You Be My Ally? Childhood, Old Friends and Jane Elliott - Part 1
Play • 54 min

This astonishing episode of "I See Color" is a Two-Part Nail-Biter that's meant to take you back to the "Good Old Days" and push you forward to a "Brighter Future."

I'll be reminiscing with my childhood friend/white cousin Greg Brown, paying tribute to Game of Thrones and sharing stories with the Honorable, Infamous, Diversity Diva Herself ~ Jane Elliott!

Jane Elliott, is an internationally known teacher, lecturer, diversity trainer, and recipient of the National Mental Health Association Award for Excellence in Education. She exposes prejudice and bigotry for what it is, an irrational class system based upon purely arbitrary factors. And if you think this does not apply to you. . . you are in for a rude awakening

She is also known for her "Blue eyes–Brown eyes" project. She first conducted this famous exercise for her class the day after Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated.

  • So, if you've ever wanted to be an Ally for Justice and Civil Rights, here's your invitation.
  • If you ever loved Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, The Brady Bunch or The Mickey Mouse Club, this show will make you smile.
  • And if you wondered why there were only (2.5) black people in Game of Thrones - today is your day - we’re gonna talk about it...

Grab your cookies & milk, pull out your bean bag chair & prepare to be offended, educated & entertained.

And Be Sure To Stick Around For Part 2... Sawubona!
