War, On Drugs.

This is our Veteran's Day show for 2020. Among all the typical adulation, free pancakes and TYFYS (AKA Merry Christmas for Veterans), what we get in America is often a whitewashed version of military service, completely devoid of all of the complexities of serving in the military, let alone warfare. In an attempt to provide some much needed balance this year, we are doing our 11/11 show on a topic that doesn't see the light of day much: drug use among soldiers and in warfare. It's a less-glamorous component of armed conflict that goes all the way back to Homer and Ajax.
