This week’s podcast we the founder of Women of Washington and Author of Belonging, the uplifting and talented Catherine "Cat" Wood. Cat is a certified Ontological Life Coach certified by Accomplishment Coaching. She teaches us to look at our inner critic and change the way we view ourselves to live a happier life.
In today's episode Cat tells us her story and how at a young age she felt she was to be seen and not heard. This was the start of many life lessons she would experience and learn from to find herself and learn self-acceptance and compassion. She is now able to use her road map of life experiences to help others love, find, and accept themselves.
We often find ourselves feeling selfish or jealous when looking at others and quickly judge them. This is because we aren’t necessarily feeling those emotions towards that person but more of a reflection of our inner want or desire. Learning what triggers these emotions will allow us to accept ourselves and be able to show compassion.
During this episode you will learn that to celebrate and love yourself, you will need to find time to learn and understand how to be in a relationship with yourself and self reflect to find happiness.
