People want to know if they should open an insurance-based model first before entering direct care. Many people feel doing this first is safer, but is it really? I share the lessons of having to reinvent myself doing exactly this, transitioning away from the insurance model into direct care. Others have successfully open a pure cash model never experiencing first hand the insurance-based model. There is no one right way, just your way and the lessons to learn from it.
