Paul Berry is the president and search manager of Comox Valley Search and Rescue and recently retired as the district principal health and safety for School District 71. He has been involved in more than 450 search and rescue operations throughout the province of B.C.

CVSAR is currently raising between $1.2 to $1.5 million to purchase or build their permanent home in the area, which they hope to have by 2023.
