*tl;dr*
-v12 Upgrade was smooth: added TWAP and (re-)enabled Interchain Accounts and Stargaze Queries
-chain halt on Monday: fixed in 5 hours (was an old non-determinism bug in EndBlock logic)
-stablecoins: native USDC coming to Cosmos as soon as January
-decentralized stables like IST, IOU, USK also coming to Osmosis soon
-stableswap targeted for end of this month
-also building a Transmuter module for free 1-to-1 stableswaps (if stablecoin teams fund it with their stable)
-incentive wars on Osmosis incoming??
-mesh security: lots of hype around Sunny’s talk — the end-state of interchain security is chains bi-directionally providing security for each other (except for smaller chains that just want another chain to do it for them)
-at HackWasm, Jake Hartnell (Juno, DAO DAO) and Ethan Frey (Confio) worked with Sunny to smash out a concept with some functionality: a proof-of-concept could be out in a couple of months
-HackWasm: very successful — lots of teams building projects that use IBC

• v12 coming in the next few weeks, featuring: TWAP, fixed Interchain Accounts, safe CosmWasm Stargate Queries (stableswap reserved for v13)
• Stride assets/pools will be available within the next couple of days
• Serotonin marketing firm (many ex-Consensys team members) hired to develop and execute cohesive marketing for Osmosis, starting Sept. 12
• looking to greatly expand our reach, thought leadership, etc.
• Osmosis Orderbook User Research: participate here
• Axelar loan swap proposal on Commonwealth (to kickstart liquidity in their LBP pool, as with Stargaze)
• Axelar also introduced rate limiting to their bridges! ($5m every 6 hours) Much safe.
• ION staking is live at ion.wtf (no APR, just governance)
• Cosmoverse coming soon! Sept. 26-28 in Medellin.

* -top priority for the next couple months is order books / concentrated liquidity
* -after that, threshold encryption
* -Osmosis DevTools Beaker and Telescope on full display at Hackatom, Buidl Asia, and Korea Blockchain week
* -bridge integrations and fiat onramp integrations coming along well (Transak also being added, in addition to Kado) - should be available in 1-2 months
* -first CosmWasm contracts going live on chain (Apollo multisig)
* -ION DAO contracts likely to go on chain after they’re updated and voted on again
* -likely doing a Maker-style over-collateralized stablecoin: IOU
* -Rektdrop in final testing stages; coming very soon (data here)

Updates From the Lab with Apollo DAO

*tl;dr*
-Osmosis continuing to build out safety protocols: re-writing the Cosmos simulator, developing mutation tests, working on bug bounty program
-work continues on bridge integrations, Kado fiat on-off ramps (hopefully in a few weeks), WosmoNFTs
-ApolloDAO is building on Osmosis. You can see their pre-proposal on Commonwealth to bring the ApolloSafe to Osmosis.
-the ApolloSafe is an advanced multi-sig wallet built with CosmWasm (CW3) that improves on the CosmosSDK multi-sig, and which has a new interface so non-devs can avoid the command line.
-further functionality will soon be built into ApolloSafe: streaming payments, fiat on-off ramps, etc.
-in addition to the ApolloSafe, ApolloDAO will be bringing automated trading strategies, leveraged yield farming, vaults, and on other on-chain hedge fund strategies to Osmosis
-they are planning to start on Osmosis, branch out to other appchains, and possibly start their own Cosmos chain, depending on what makes the most sense for connecting Cosmos chains with the ApolloSafe and with the ApolloDAO yield strategies
