CCC Sermons |11.1.20 | "Jesus & The End Times", Part 1
*Pastor Dr. Daniel Snape begins a new sermon series entitled "Jesus & The End Times". Part 1 is from Matthew 24:1-14.* “Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. *2 *“Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” *3 *As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” *4 *Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. *5 *For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. *6 *You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. *7 *Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. *8 *All these are the beginning of birth pains. *9 *“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. *10 *At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, *11 *and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. *12 *Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, *13 *but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. *14 *And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

CCC Sermons | 10.18.20 | "The Great Intercessor"
*Dr. Daniel Snape teaches from Exodus 33:12-23. * Moses said to the Lord, “You have been telling me, ‘Lead these people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, ‘I know you by name and you have found favor with me.’ *13 *If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.” *14 *The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” *15 *Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. *16 *How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” *17 *And the Lord said to Moses, “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.” *18 *Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.” *19 *And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. *20 *But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” *21 *Then the Lord said, “There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. *22 *When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. *23 *Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.”
