The National Ambassador Podcast
The National Ambassadors
The National Ambassadors are a team of 17-25 year old Clarion residents who are working together to ensure young people have a voice in shaping our services. The podcast is a platform for the National Ambassadors to discuss issues that they are passionate about and interview people who are doing amazing things in our communities. The first series is called Guardians of the Green Spaces, this series aims to encourage residents to get outside and explore their local green space and get involved in initiatives to help to make their neighbourhoods greener. The first series will feature interviews with a number of green-fingered Clarion residents and organisations that work within Clarion communities to hear all about the fantastic work they are doing outside in our neighbourhoods. The episodes also feature music expertly played by our very own National Ambassador Leon!We will be filming a final podcast to address any questions you may have about the Guardians of the Green Space. If you have any questions about how to get involved in the National Ambassador Programme, how to start a green initiative in your community or just where your local youth service is please email firstname.lastname@example.org.Our current launch dates are as follows:17th June – Introducing the National AmbassadorsInterview with Sophie from Backyard Nature15th July - Interview with Aaron Lee the Youth Sports Co-ordinator from Clarion Futures Communities9th August - Interview with Simon from Clarion5530th August - Interview with Max from the #iwill Youth Exchange Programme run by the Age Friendly Communities Team in partnership with The Royal Commonwealth20th September - Interview with Sam from Emerge Youth Charity, Bradford4th October - Final Q&A podcast with our ambassadorsEach episode will also be available soon after its release on Spotify, Google Play, and iTunes – make sure you subscribe!
