Pelvic Floor Part II: When It's Time for Surgery (aka Vagina Braces)
60-75% of all vaginal births result in some form of tearing. Beyond childbirth, many women experience a progressive collapse of their pelvic floor over the course of their lifetime.
This week, we're back with our Pelvic Floor series to share a breakdown of what happens "When the V is broke and non-surgical intervention ain't fixin.'" We'll walk through the true story of "vagina braces" and a subsequent rebirth that --for Katie-- resulted in a brand new Rolls Royce V (thanks to Dr. Pero).
Learn what signs and symptoms to look for to avoid surgery, as well as best practices and methods to prepare before, during and after pregnancy (and in the future) to prevent complications down south.
