Bonus Episode 1 - Hello, I'm a Police Chaplain
Play • 11 min

What is a police chaplain?  In simplest terms, a chaplain is a like a priest or a pastor who is attached to an organization like a hospital or the military.  In my case, I volunteer with the local police department.

A chaplain gets called out to unattended deaths, which means homicides, suicides, accidents, and natural deaths where there was no doctor or hospice care.  A chaplain also makes death notifications.  And a chaplain builds relationships with the officers by being present as they serve our community.

This podcast is intended to provide wisdom, support, and encouragement to law enforcement officers and their families.  You can help by subscribing, leaving a 5-star review, telling a friend, and praying for me and the officers I serve.
