Jeff Francom goes from being a reactive Paramedic and Fire Captain to a preventive Emergency Manger at a chemical depot. He discusses the mind shift that it took to take on this new responsibility and how rewarding it was. Jeff will always love the challenges and rewards of being a First Responder and putting his skills to the test. Like many other First Responders, he loves the relationships he has made with his co-workers and some of those he has been apart of on life saving calls. He share's how much the relationships he made during his career mean to him. We discussed in this episode how we should prepare our families for different events that might happen to us like a mass shooting. Sadly enough less than 24 hours after recording this episode the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton took place. Our thoughts are with all those affected including all those that had to respond to these horrific incidents.   Please help me make this podcast have even more value and impact by leaving a review and rating the episodes.
