Mary Nelis, from the Bogside in Derry is a lifelong community activist and was a leading campaigner with the Relatives’ Action Committee during the prison protest. 

She had two sons imprisoned in the H-Blocks during the Blanket Protest. 

In this episode, she recounts her memories of visiting Long Kesh and of seeing her sons experience the brutal regime in the prison at that time.
