- Nikki Woods, Ambrose West

Two of the music hall venues along Haywood Road covering a wide range of musical offerings. Both places also book as event spaces and have multiple size room offerings. And both places have parking  :)

Isis Restaurant & Music Hall is located inside a renovated movie house (one of three that historically existed along Haywood Road). Restoration of the movie marcque at the front of the building and the Art Deco styling give Isis a distinctive/iconic appearance. The restaurant (dinner and Sunday brunch) is located at the street side (front) of the building and adjacent patio. The main music hall is on the same level and includes balcony seating. The more intimate performance space is located on the second floor. Along with their award-winning Bluegrass series, they host a wide range of performers and the spaces are available to rent for private events. They also have a free lawn series every Wednesday and Thursday (weather permitting) featuring local bands on the Isis Lawn. Music starts at 6pm and ends at 8pm. It’s an evening of community. Bring a chair or blanket or grab one of theirs. Music can also be enjoyed from the patio seating. Isis, like most of our West Asheville businesses, is family owned and operated.

Ambrose West is based in a renovated church and companion building - just a block up from where we are recording. They are a contemporary event space and music venue hosting a variety of events including: live music, wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate parties, and meetings. They are a family owned and operated business with the goal to provide our clients and audiences with the most memorable event. The two event spaces and adjoining courtyard can all be utilized individually, or as a set.
